How long are sessions?

Each session typically lasts approximately 50-55 minutes.

How often should we meet?

There is no "hard or fast" rule. The frequency and duration of sessions depend on what proves most beneficial for you, taking into account your specific circumstances. In some cases, a traditional approach of one hour per week might be suitable. However, during times of crisis, you may find it more helpful to meet more frequently or have longer sessions exceeding one hour. As therapy progresses, it is common for the intervals between sessions to gradually increase until you feel you no longer require the support of counseling. The ultimate goal is to adapt the therapy process to meet your evolving needs and facilitate your progress.

Is your counseling Biblical?

Everything I do is filtered through the lens of Scripture. Psychology doesn't provide the definitive answer to life problems, but some of it is quite helpful. I like to think of my counseling is both Biblical and practical. As one of my mentors has said to me, "We don't want to be so high minded that we are of no earthly good." I help apply the truths of the Bible to everyday life in simple, understandable, and winsome manner.

What if me or my spouse is not a Christian?

That's quite all right. Many of my clients are not Christians. One need not be a Christian to benefit from Truth. I don't evangelize clients. The truth is, Truth is applicable and helpful to us all. It makes no difference to me who comes for help. I treat all clients as if they were sent by God himself- valued, unique, and special.
